739 - 144 Mhz UHF - VHF Downconverter for QO-100 (Es'Hail2) by G0MRF.

In February '24 after many months of searching I managed to find a blank PCB for sale on eBay. The components were then ordered from Digikey who stocked the majority of the parts. My completed board is shown in the photograph. 

I needed a 5v voltage regulator for a Low Noise Xtal Oscillator from VHF Designs.

The LT3042 Ultralow Noise Higher Current Regulator circuit featuring an external D45VH10G was taken from the Analog Devices datasheet. 

The PCB was designed to facilitate the transistor being mounted on a heatsink underneath the board. The fixing screw for the transistor can be accessed via an access hole on the PCB.

The PCB was created in Kicad and manufactured by JLCPCB .

Dubus 2/2022 features a nice design by DK4XP. 

Designed by Geoff Pike (GI0GDP), the amplifier was constructed for a 4m Transverter project I was building.
